20th Annual Milton Frech Jr. Memorial Potomac Street Mile
November 9 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the Potomac Street Mile—now held in celebration of former Brunswick Chief of Police Milton Frech Jr.—and we are celebrating with extra fun: temporary tattoos, challenge coins for the first 50 registrants, and custom finisher medals!
The Milton Frech Jr. Potomac Street Mile is a level, out-and-back mile course in Downtown Brunswick. The event celebrates Brunswick, Maryland’s historic downtown and former Police Chief Milton Frech Jr. (Aug. 13, 1964-March 30, 2021), who devoted so much of his professional heart and soul to it. Proceeds will benefit the Brunswick BEACON and American Legion Post 96 in honor of Chief Frech’s service.
There are four age categories: Elementary School (first grade and above), Middle School, High School & Adult (19+). Awards are given for both male and female first and second place finishers. After-race snacks are provided.
