Important Announcements from the City of Brunswick

Important Announcement! The City of Brunswick has issued a flood warning for the Potomac River. The river is forecasted to reach flood levels of 22.90 feet by tomorrow morning at 8 AM. This significant rise in water level will cover the tow path, making it unsafe for residents. We urge all residents to stay out of the flooded areas for their safety.

Water Conservation Notice

Due to the high water levels, the city’s water plant will face challenges in producing water. While the plant will be making water and topping off supplies during this period, it will not be able to produce water once the river reaches the forecasted flood level. It may take a couple of days before water production can resume.

We ask all residents to conserve water during this time to ensure that everyone has access to the necessary resources. Your cooperation is essential in helping your fellow residents and supporting the city through this period.

Thank you for your understanding and assistance. Stay safe and take care.
