2023 marks the 19th Annual Potomac Street Mile, now held in celebration of former Brunswick Chief of Police Milton Frech Jr.*

The Potomac Street Mile is a level, out-and-back mile course run on East Potomac Street between First Avenue and the City Park Building. There are four age categories: Elementary School (first grade and above), Middle School, High School & Adult (19+). Awards are given for both male and female first and second place finishers. After-race snacks are provided.

Day-of registrations will also be taken in Square Corner Park beginning at 8am.

*Chief Frech passed away on March 30, 2021. He was the embodiment of community policing, always present at community events keeping an eye on things, chatting away, and getting to know everyone in his town.
