Note: You must have a Maryland SDAT Identification Number before you can apply for a FEIN. You will receive this number when you register your business with the state.

Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy Loans (C-PACE)
Funding is available as 100% up-front capital to commercial property owners to implement building upgrades that save energy and lower operating costs.

Brunswick Main Street Façade Improvement Program
To date, this program’s awards have helped create infrastructure improvements valued at nearly $1.5 million in the downtown district. It offers funds to businesses in the Brunswick Main Street District to improve individual building façade appearances in external, public areas and make exterior building improvements that are permanent and not cosmetic.

A State of Maryland business license is required for most businesses, including retailers and wholesalers. A trader’s license is required for buying and re-selling. Occupational or Professional licenses may be required if you or your employees work in certain fields.

Form I-9: Verify employment eligibility and keep on file (do not submit).
Maryland State Directory of New Hires
