Brunswick Heritage Museum
For over 30 years, the three-story Brunswick Heritage Museum has preserved the history of our town. Known during the Civil War as Berlin, this small town along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal and Baltimore & Ohio Railroad was incorporated as Brunswick in 1890. Learn about our town built by the B&O, see a 1,700 square foot HO Scale model railroad that shows the B&O Metropolitan Subdivision that began at the west end of Brunswick’s rail yard, and ran eastward through Montgomery County communities all the way to Union Station in Washington D.C.

River’s Edge Trails
Explore over 4 miles of multi-use trails along the shores of the Potomac River. Built by volunteers and the professional services of Elevated Trail Designs, River’s Edge Trails are challenging and rewarding. You’ll find multiple cross-country flow trails (Yellow, Red, Green, White, & Blue) great for mountain biking, running, and hiking, along with jump trails, fast, downhill flow, a berm trail, and space to tabletop. Brunswick Family Campground
This full-service RV and tent campground right on the river has over 100 scenic campsites and basic cabins, added in 2018. The campground is conveniently an hour drive from the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore beltways, and is located between the Potomac River and the C&O Canal Towpath at Brunswick, MD and near Harpers Ferry, WV.
