Old Berlin Cemetery
Old Berlin is the earliest known cemetery in Brunswick. Burials have taken place here since at least 1799, most taking place between 1870 and 1920, and the oldest existing grave marker reads “M.C. 1810.” About 70 gravestones remain; it is no longer an active cemetery. The Cemetery is owned by the City of Brunswick and is open to the public. Visitors are welcome to walk around the grounds and explore the history that is here.
