Brunswick is located 15 miles southwest of the City of Frederick, is an hour’s drive from Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC, and is minutes from historic Harpers Ferry, WV.
Found at Mile Marker 55 of the C&O Towpath, Brunswick’s trailhead access and ample free parking in the heart of downtown makes for an ideal spot to launch day trips. Or, stay overnight while traveling the C&O Canal National Historical Park and the Greater Allegheny Passage.
Brunswick also provides easy access to the southernmost three miles of the Appalachian Trail in Maryland. The intersection is only three miles down the C&O Towpath.
