Flexible Volunteering
We’re always in need of drop-in volunteers for a variety of assistance making our city an exciting place to live and visit!
Commitment level:
2-4 hour time slots as needed
Types of Activities:
- Set up equipment for events
- Take tickets
- Greenscaping
- Solicit for auction donations
- And more!
Join a Committee
Commitment level:
One two-hour committee meeting/month
4-6 hours/month developing projects and executing action plans
Types of Activities:
- Plan and execute action plans
- Purchase event supplies (with reimbursement)
- Research grant opportunities
- Solicit sponsors and other types of fundraising
Become a Board Member
Commitment level:
One two-hour board meeting/month
6-8 hours/month for offline decision-making and planning
Types of Activities:
- Oversee organization budget
- Approve committee work plans
- Review advertising campaigns
- Actively look for ways to promote our mission
- Make connections in the community and region to bolster our organization’s profile
- Research grant opportunities and solicit sponsors for fundraising purp
