Call it fate, luck, or provenance, but these five men come together in a way that channels the unmatched drive and spirit of the Great Early Bluegrass Pioneers… sometimes fearsome, sometimes lonesome, sometimes joyous, but always touching your heart. ERIC KNOWLES MATTHEW GEIGER GREGG BOWERS DAVE REPASS MARK BAKER Each member possesses the same rare rhythmic “feel” and drive. Brian Litz of the famous musical Litz family is an inspiring jazz guitar player. On the Fourth Thursday of every month he assembles passionate jazz performers from the area at Beans in the Belfry to live and breath light jazz for a couple of hours. You’ll often find Bruce Fransen on his sax, clarinet or flute and Mark Lysher plucking his upright bass. Enjoy a light meal while you enjoy the jazz tunes, a craft beer, bottle of wine or artisan vinted hard cider or flavored mead from the valley. There is no cover but the performers appreciate contributions to their tip jar.
