Outdoor Mindfulness Yoga and River’s Edge Meditation

$30Join seasoned yoga teacher and Mindful Outdoor Guide, Julie Kaus, for a nature connection experience that begins at the yoga studio and then moves down to the C&O Towpath along the Potomac River.
Meet at the Roots & River Yoga studio, then walk together to a nearby grassy knoll for some breathing and centering exercises with gentle standing yoga movement. From there, Julie will guide the group in a walking meditation down to the C&O Towpath, along the river’s edge. Once at the Potomac River, Julie will lead a mediation and create space for personal time in mindful witness with the sensory sights and sounds of the earth, trees, birds, river and more. We will end the afternoon with a tea ceremony and sharing circle along the water’s edge.
